Responsibilities
Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables rapidly and accurately
Assist the wait staff with table settings by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, silverware, glassware, and napkins.
Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards
Check in with guests, to clear plates and set up for the next course, refill waters as needed
Remove dirty dishes and utensils
Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items
Inform restaurant staff about guests’ feedback or requests
Assist with polishing glassware and on-going side work during your shift
Assist with organizing and packing up To-Go orders in a timely manner
Skills
Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy items and stand for long hours
Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
Multi-tasking abilities
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
