PeopleSoft Integration Broker Developer Job Title: PeopleSoft Integration Broker Developer Location: 100% Remote (Continental United States) Position Type: In-house Bright Vision Technologies SOW engagement (no third-party client or vendor) Salary: $100K - $150K / Annum Experience: 5+ years Sponsorship: No new H1B sponsorship available. Employment Terms & Visa Policy This is a 100% remote, full-time, direct W2 position with Bright Vision Technologies. This role is part of Bright Vision Technologies’ in-house Statement of Work (SOW) engagement. The client, end customer, and employer for this position is Bright Vision Technologies — there is no third-party client, vendor, or implementation partner involved. We do not engage in C2C, 1099, or third-party arrangements for this role. BUT STRICTLY NO C2C/1099/3RD PARTY COMPANIES. ALL OUR ROLES ARE W2 AND NO 3RD PARTY BROKERING PLEASE. Candidates must be willing to work directly as a full-time W2 employee of Bright Vision Technologies and contribute to our in-house SOW deliverables. No new H1B sponsorship is available for this role. However, candidates who are currently on a valid H1B visa and require a transfer are welcome to apply. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Integration Broker Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications to internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms. This role focuses specifically on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on Integration Broker experience with broader PeopleTools knowledge and a strong understanding of API and integration design patterns. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production. Key Responsibilities<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Develop transformations using XSLT, Application Engine, and PeopleCode handlers, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standards.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Configure security on inbound and outbound services, including WS-Security, OAuth2, and certificate-based authentication.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Build robust error-handling and retry mechanisms, including notifications, monitoring, and resubmission workflows.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts to support hybrid integration scenarios.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point-to-point integrations to standardized Integration Broker patterns, planning phased cutovers, building backward-compatibility shims where needed, and ensuring each migration step is reversible and well-monitored.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Optimize performance of high-volume integrations through queue tuning, parallel processing, and asynchronous design.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud applications (Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow) and middleware (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation — including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures — so that the system remains supportable, auditable, and easy to onboard new engineers onto over time.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including incident response and root-cause analysis.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Collaborate closely with functional consultants and integration architects, gathering requirements, aligning on technical approach, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet both functional needs and broader engineering and operational standards.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code review, design review, pair programming, and structured knowledge sharing, helping the broader team grow in technical maturity and confidence over time.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with web service security standards (WS-Security, OAuth2).</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi) is a strong plus.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">PeopleSoft certifications.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Exposure to event-driven integration patterns.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Familiarity with CI/CD tooling for PeopleSoft.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Strong understanding of API management concepts.</li></ul>How to Apply Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
