Security Officer - Mobile Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer - Mobile Driver Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will complete routine patrols and driving rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to customer and associate concerns with clear communication and professionalism. You will document activity using a computer and/or tablet while supporting a caring, people-first culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovative, reliable service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff and shoppers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances and exits, stock areas as assigned, and the exterior perimeter including parking areas; working conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and policy violations, help to deter theft and/or disorderly conduct, and promptly notify site leadership and/or law enforcement when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and customer concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions and coordinating with on-site teams as needed.
• Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate significant events during shift transitions, and support access control practices such as observing doors, receiving areas, and delivery activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• Be comfortable using computer or tablet - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
